Ben has dedicated over 26 years to serving as a law enforcement officer with a prominent metropolitan agency. His commitment to excellence is reflected in his long-standing role as a certified Use of Force and Firearms Instructor, accredited through the Minnesota Bureau of Criminal Apprehension since 1998.

With over 25 years of experience training law enforcement personnel, Ben has been a strong advocate for scenario-based training, helping advance practical, real-world preparedness in the field.
His expertise includes Active Shooter Response, where he has played a key role in training individuals and agencies to respond effectively to high-risk situations.
In addition to his instructional roles, Ben served as a Police Sergeant, overseeing School Resource Officers (SROs), the Investigations Division, and Patrol Operations. His leadership and commitment to community safety have been evident throughout his career.
Ben has also completed specialized training with the Drug Enforcement Administration in entry tactics and SWAT operations. He has served as both a shoot house instructor and counter-vehicle ambush instructor, equipping law enforcement personnel with critical, high-level skills.
Beyond law enforcement, Ben is certified through the Minnesota Department of Natural Resources to provide youth firearms safety training, reflecting his dedication to education and responsible firearm use within the community.
